2006 AFC Ravenscraig Awards

All good things must come to an end and on Saturday Ravenscraig’s 2005/06 season drew to a close with the end of season awards. As voted for by the team, Jamie Kirkwood won Player of the Year and Scott Simpson won Goal of the Season for his 25 yard volley against Kelvinbank Star. Gary McAdams got the the top goal scorer award and those missing from the photo either had food poisioning (Sim) or were meeting up with the guys later at China Buffet King and then Buffalo Joe's. We would have showed the photos from BJ’s but big Jim’s camera phone takes poorer shots than most of the guys do at training, Jim time for a new phone! The Ravens now take a breather and plan to reconvene in July, see you then and as always new players always welcome, so do us an email if you want on board for next season.
